Philosophy Club #1 - "The One" This will be the first in a series of philosophical question letter writing prompts! The question is: Do you believe in "The One" or the idea of a "one true love". Some topics that might be interesting to touch on in this letter could be: Do you believe in fate or destiny? Do you think you only ever fall in love once? Multiple times? Do you feel there is a big difference between platonic love and romantic love? Has this belief changed over time? Do you believe in the sentiment, "Right person, wrong time." This swap is meant to share your personal beliefs in a way that is open-hearted. There will be NO bashing of other people's personal beliefs, religions, backgrounds, etc. This is merely a safe place to learn what other people might think about the big questions in life. A swap for the ponderers if you will! Please do not use this swap to try and preach your belief to others either. We are merely sharing our personal thoughts on a topic that has philosophical roots :) This is not expected to be an essay, no need to cite sources. Just speak from the heart. What do YOU believe? The letter should be 1 page long, handwritten preferred, but typing is acceptable. You may go longer, as these questions tend to bring out many thoughts in people. You may include extras but it is not necessary. Newbies welcome with a filled-out profile. Happy writing! | |
